Silent Night Tag,Cluster pack (Freebie), and Desktop Background (Freebie)

I created quie a bit of goodies with Alison aka Hungry Hill Scraps new PTU scrapkit "Silent Night".
First is a tag with a quick tutorial then a set of 4 cluster frames and a desktop background. The frames and background are being given away as freebies over on the Hungry Hill blog HERE. Lets begin...

Open a new canvas 600x600/transparent.
Paste paper4 onto canvas.
Apply tree1 to the left side,duplicate,and mirror it.
Apply tree3 and move below the tree1  layer and place behind tree1 on the right side.
Apply tree2,resize 75% and place in front of tree1 on the left side. Duplicate and mirror it.
Apply deer3,resize 50% and place behind copy of tree2on right (upper body of deer sticking out of trees).
Apply gifts element,resize 25%,and place below the tree2 layer on the left.Duplicate the gifts element and move to the right but staying under the tree.
Apply the flurry element,no resize needed,move in layers pallet and place on top of paper4.
Open all your ornament elements. Each element was resized 10%,duplicated,
and placed sparadicly on top of the trees.
Merge all layers>visible.
Apply your mask,merge>group,and resize 95%.
Apply paper2 onto canvas,move to bottom layer and apply your name and credits.
 merge all layers>visible.
Save as PNG or JPEG.
And now for the freebie cluster frames and desktop background...

Elegant Holiday

Let's Get Started!

-Open your template,duplicate it, and close the original. Now on your layers box, delete the background,grunge, and info/credit layers.
*The next several steps were going to be pasting our papers into the template. You will need to go to selections>inver using your magic wand tool to highlight each layer for each paper.
-Large black strip-pp.1
-Purple rectangle-Go to adjust>hue & saturation>coloring>(H)67/(S)86>OK.
-Blue rectangle-pp6. 
-Repeat last two steps for the second purple &blue rectangles.
-Purple strip-pp2.
-White strip-pp4.
-Black strip-pp.7
-White Oval-Go to adjust>hue & saturation>coloring>(H)98/(S)138>OK.
-Purple oval-pp8
-Delete blue squares
-Black squares-pp8 (in all 3)
-White frames-leave the like they are.
-Delete music overlay
-Delete lost in you background and wordart
-Blue strip-pp1
*Now were going to add the first tube. 
-Activate the purple oval layer, go to selections>invert and paste tube inside. Go to your layer box and move the tube on top of paper (raster7) and blend>multiply.
*Now were going to add tubes 2-4.
Activate the black square layer, In the first square apply tube 2, in square 2 apply tube 3, and in square 3 apply tube 4. All tubes blend>Lumanance.
*Now were going to apply our elements.
-Apply branch1,resize 45%, and place below the black strip layer at the top of template on the upper left corner. Duplicate it,flip & mirror it.
-Apply ribbon1,resize 45%, and place on top right below the black strip layer.
-In layers box activate the first tube layer. Apply the stars on top of tube,resize 50%.
-Activate the blue strip layer and apply ornament on to canvas. Resize 30%. Place at the right end of blue strip with the ornament dangling.
-Apply element5,resize and paste on bottom layer,top right.
Duplicate,flip,and mirror (should go in bottom left corner).
-Apply apple element,resize 30%, and place on upper left on top of white strip layer.
-Apply element3,resize and place on top layer,bottom left.
-Apply element12,resize 40%,and place on top layer,bottom right.
-Apply key element,resize 40%,and place below the blue strip layer on the left end.
-Apply the credits/License #,and name
-Merge all layers>visible and resize 600x600/72dpi
Now save as a PNG/JPEG
(JPEG format will give your tag a white background/PNG will not)
